THE PRINCIPAL SPEAKS. . . It becomes my pleasure again to congratulate you on your educational achievements thus far. I hope that I can award you a crown of victory in June. It hardly seems like five years since I first welcomed you in the Foster family and yet you have almost completed your tasks. Many changes have taken place at Foster and in the world since our first meeting. I hope that these changes have influenced you and that the knowledge you have received here has been so flexible that you will want greater accomplishments. In your strife, remember that the best is desired in anything that you do. Your best only comes after your earnest effort, skilled attainment, and dogged determinations to move forward. Take an honest retrospect of yourselves. How will you fit in this scheme of life? It is easy to say I can ' t, but is it an honest appraisal? Have you applied hard work to efforts? There is no substitute for knowledge. For he who said-- I am the Way - -is still the way. If you in your strife for greater accomplishments, follow his pattern of life, I assure you that prosperity will be yours. Go forth and make Nottoway, Foster and parents proud of you. Mr. Joseph B.
