Women here at Luther often pose only as sex objects. At Luther it seems not so important how you define yourself but how other people define you. The community of male and female working together has to play an important role here on campus. '39 O ,xl xx This year marked the seventieth presentation of George Frederick Handel's Messiah at Luther Col- lege. There were two performances one on Saturday night December ist and one on Sunday afternoon December Znd. Rehearsals for the chorus of close to two thousand strong voices began in mid-Octo- ber. This year's performances will mark the 26th year that Weston Noble has directed the spectacle. Spiced with soloists, the perform- ance inspired every one of the par- ticipants and awed the audience, culminating in the chorus of I-IQJQLQM ' mf
