ENGLISH English, being of great importance to every student, is required for all 9th through llth grades at Burbank. Students in English I, III, and V are taught the fundamentals of granuuar. This includes spelling, reading, and outlining. English Il, IV, and VI are devoted to the study of American and English literature. A major in this course is required. Students taking a business course are eligible to enter the Business Club whith is sponsored by Mrs. Olidene McDermand and Miss Marie Splittgerber. The main object of this organization is to arouse interest in the businss world and ambition for job advancement. Members are given the chance to see what goes on in the world of business by field trips made to different business establishments.
