Mrs. Georgia Broom, attendance teacher of Burbank junior and Senior High, records the attendance of the entire school throughout the school year with the heip of her office aids. Mrs. Broom was a gra uate of West Moreland College, in San Antonio She accepted the position in 1948. During the past year, Mrs. Olidene McDermand, has proved herself more than able to carry out the many duties of being counselor at Burbank. She joined the school faculty in the fall of September, 1943 and was an instructor of business administration until the Fall of 1958 when she became counselor. Mrs. McDermand obtained her Bach- elor's Degree from Southwest Texas State Teachers College and her Masters from the University of Texas. In addition to teach- ing at Burbank, she has taught at South- west Texas, San Antonio College, and Trinity University.

Mrs. West, as well as secretary, acts as a personal receptionist in the main office, and takes care of the school's financial records. 5 - A Q t Dorothy Nell West L2 Mary jo Meyer Camille Patterson Miss Meyer, general secretary, takes dictation, types leters, and files school busi- ness. Assorting mail and furnishing sup- plies needed byy other offices are also part of her responsi ilities. Mrs. Camille Patterson, working for Dean Mary Alice Noonan and Vice-Prin- cipal, David Rusmisel, is in charge of the permanent record cards for each enrolled, dropped, and graduated student. The stu- dent program card files and the monthly veterans forms are her duties.
