LUTHER BURBANK VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL looz EDWARDS STREET SAN ANTONIO 4, TEXAS May zetn, 1959 Dear Seniors: My wish for you, as you come to your time of graduation from high school, is that expressed by Louis Untermeyer in one of his poems: WGod keep me still unsatisfiedn. The diploma you will receive merely states that you have completed the requirements stipulated for high school graduation. What you have gained from your years in high school has depended entirely upon you. A You may have sat through your classes and have done as little as possible in them, or you may have accepted the challenge offered by your teachers and built for yourself strength that will aid you now as well as in h the future. Whichever type of person you may be, I hope that since you have achieved this goal, You will find yourself unsatisfied unless you always dig deeper, search further and give more of yourself in building for a better world Sincerely your .enact ' Terrell F. Gates Principal 8
