The CARDINAL 929 Willing Worker Club The Willing Worker Club was organized in January for the purpose of helping others. This year we have sent a few boxes to the Southeast Mis- souri Hospital. The Club holds occasional meetings to plan ways in which to help bring rays o’ sunshine to the suffering and shut-ins. Our aim is to learn the true spirit of giving, that we might remember with the poet, Not what we give but what we share, For the gift without the giver is bare. The CARDINAL 929 Hiking Club A Hiking Club was organized this year under the leadership of Mrs. Huls. The club is composed of members who enjoy the sport, who are full of vim, and “ready to go.” We are all working toward one definite goal, that being a big. bright, red letter L, and don’t intend to quit until all the miles have been stepped away in order to obtain it. Several miles are now in history, as we have made a number of hiking trips. We are planning to give a carnival in the near future and if that ‘‘goes over”, there’s no telling what we’ll try next.
