Joyce Literary Society The Joyce Literary Society was organized September the tenth, nineteen and twenty-eight for the purpose of promoting the school spirit, the creating of a finer feeling of good fellowship among the students and to further the literary activities in the school. This society was named in honor of our High School Superintendent, Mr. T. E. Joyce. The CARDINAL 92 9 Elvis Literary Society The Elvis Literary Society was organized in November, 1918 in honor of Elvis Barrett who gave his life during the World War. It has been re- organized each year.
