The CARDINAL 19 2 9 Basketball Boys Charley Bollinger (Capt.) “Capt” was a stellar player on the team for four years. He was accurate in goal shooting and a good floor man. lie was our high point man this year. We sure will miss him next year. Waldo Allgood “Uncle Mat was good at taking the ball off the backboard and a good passer. There was no one who fought harder than he. Fl oyd Liley “Herk” was the tall center who always guarded his man very closely and usually got the tip off. He will be missed next year. Boyd Slinkard “Slink” had the fight and was fast, be- sides being a good goal shot. He played forward and counted a number of markers. Lester Filer “Red” played guard and could always be relied on to get his man. He is a Soph and will be back next year. John Dale Chandler “T. B.” was a sub forward and gave a good account of himself when he played. Lloyd Spence Spence played forward and guard, play ing well at each position. William Yount “Bill ’ played center and was accurate in goal shooting. — 17 — rze
