3 Ziff 118,413 '75 FV t7v4JV.768 1301116 80.75 HJSZOKMN A year marked with transition, a year marked with adjustment, a year marked with variety, a year marked with vic- tory, a year marked with countless new experiences--this is the year 1975. One significant characteristic is notice- able--the fact that this year is a con- solidation of the student body of four former high schools: Romeville Boys, Romeville Girls, Lutcher High Girls, and Lutcher High Boys. A history .without a brief review from each of these high schools would be in- complete. Therefore, students from each of these schools were interviewed to re- late first-hand information regarding the ninth through eleventh grades at the various schools. ROMEVILLE BOYS--In the ninth grade, theywerea small class in number, but they considered themselves very lucky to have a principal like Oscar Garrett. The year 72-73 approached, and this small class matured from the stage of Greenies into Sophisticated Sopho- mores. To the class, this year did not prove to be the most exciting because activities were slow--administrator and facultywere changed. The year was one of adjustment. Harold Mitchell was named principal. Time passed, this year ended. Now approached the time these young men considered the most exciting peri- od of their high school career--eleventh grade. Oscar Garrett returned as princi- pal for the school year 73-74. They were now a small class of juniors.
