FOREWORD The Staff would like to thank all those who helped to make our 1964 Blue Tide a book which we are pleased to present as our best. We thank the student body and the faculty for their cooperation and sympathetic understanding; our parents and com- munity friends, whose support has been generous and unstinted; the Board of Education, our Superintendent and our Principal, whose official interest and aid have always been an inspiration; our photographers. Mr. Harris and Mr. Elam, whose skill cannot be surpassed; Mrs. Bennett, our faculty advisor, who never counted the hours when we worked. We leave this book as a token of our love and appreciation for our school, our community, and our wayoflife. It is a part of our life. We have worked on it. truly believing that If a thing is worth doing at all, it is worth doing well. Say not--they did well or ill, Only they did their best.
