A RESPECTABLE 12-4-3 SEASON Although the Lions finished with a 12-4-3 record and a play-off appear- ance, there seemed to be something missing from the season this year, because in many peoples eyes the Lions are supposed to have a win- ning record and make the play-offs every year. This is a great compli- ment to Ludlow soccer and its par- ticipants. Nonetheless, there were many exciting moments for the Lions this year. Perhaps the biggest high- light came when the Lions thor- oughly outplayed undefeated Ca- thedral in a 0-0 tie. Ludlow owned Cathedral this day and proved that they could play with anyone in Western Mass. When Ludlow’s bid for second place fell short on the final game of the season, the Lions optimistically looked forward to their challenge against eventual state runner-up, Classical.
