“But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go be- fore I sleep.” These are the immortal words of the great New England poet Rob- ert Frost. They apply to anyone looking into the future; a future we all must face, for time goes on. Facing the light of the future, we pause — somewhat afraid, yet eager — to look into the shadows of the past. Now, we have tried to capture all the moments and events the past four years hold for us. With the hope of preserving forever these cherished memories, we the editors and staffs proudly offer our past to the future, in the 1965 edition of the... LUDLOW LION!

As the graduating class of 1965 leaves the sacred halls of Ludlow High it takes time to remember, with sincere gratitude and thanks, the undying spirit and faithfulness of the one person we consider “our teacher” Miss Mary Dubois. In the three years that Miss Mary Dubois has been here at Ludlow High she has helped and encouraged us beyond all measures. For this we are grateful and in our hearts she will always be remembered not only as a teacher, but as a friend.

a Be pero se cbijibinilitsiicclaat IN TRIBUTE For more than ten years, Ludlow High School has been both proud and privi- leged to have as its principal a man of great stamina and ability. Through these years this man has been both a leader and a friend, not only to the members of the class of ’65 but to every student who has entered the doors of Ludlow High. His desire to help whenever he could and to lead whenever he had to, will be re- membered throughout the coming years with great appreciation and gratitude. Therefore, we, the class of 1965 do present our edition of the Ludlow Lion in tribute to our principal, Mr. George E. Russell
