1] A és WILLIAM KOLODZIEY, Class President PRESIDENTS MESSAGE To the Class of 1960: To the members of the class of 1960, I would extend my most sincere thanks and appreciation for your having given me the opportunity to lead you through our fourth and most memorable school year. With hard work and cooperation, this class has brought to Ludlow High School and to its members lasting recognition, a fact which, in itself, goes to prove that this year and in previous years, the class chose well its class officers, homeroom representatives, and chairmen and members of the various committees; all of these people contributed to the achievement of the class and the fame of the school. The senior year is a year in which every member of the class sights a goal so that plans and efforts can be started toward the eventual achievement of that goal. The skillful cooperation of sev- eral teachers guided us in this planning of our future. To the four class advisors and other mem- bers of the faculty we express sincere appreciation for their guidance and assistance in the pro- duction of our class projects—the Booster Day Dance, SPALY, The Ludlow Lion, Class Day, and our Class Banquet. The secretarial and custodial staffs are deserving, too, of our gratitude for their patient tolerance of our adolescently zealous interruptions of their routine as we ply them with “useless” questions! Finally, we convey our most earnest thanks to Mr. Russell, our principal, for his able organization, management, and supervision of our school and its activities; without his steady hand at the helm, our class ship would never have made port! In conclusion, I wish every member of the class the best of luck in the years to come; I repeat that I am, indeed, proud, honored, and grateful to be your permanent class president. I hope and expect to see all of you at our first class reunion in 1965 and at every subsequent reunion. Sincerely William J. Kolodziey Jr.
