HE TRUE BEGINNING OF OUR END The past—all those things which are done, yet not forgotten; the smiles, laughter, joy, and tears—all are parts of yesterday's world never again to return. In the new glow of the future, we pause—some- what afraid, but yet eager—to think back on our years of high school. Whatever fields hold our individual interests, wherever our journey through time shall bring us, whenever we stop only to glance back, we will have this book of cherished memories—memories that will echo through the distant years. | DEDICAT OW To those who through the years have guided and taught the youth of today how to be tomorrow’s citizens, we offer this token of our thanks—for endless service in the field of teaching, for patience and understanding, for their efforts to further the education of today’s young people. In this world we are constantly groping for the higher ideals. The standards of our country depend up- on its teachers. Every day, students are learning about their country and the history of the world. It is to this honorable and rewarding career of teaching that Miss Olive K. Brooks and Miss Marga- ret K. Murtagh have given their time. Therefore, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to our knowledge, we, the staff, on behalf of the graduating class, proudly dedicate to them the 1957 Ludlow Lion.
