Baird, the man who for over a quarter of a century has consecrated his hours by vigorous effort and an honest aim and who has conscientiously put aside personal time and interests in unselfish de- votion to duty, we, the class of 1956, respectfully dedicate this edition of The Ludlow Lion in apprecia- tion of his services as a teacher, superintendent, citizen, and friend of the youth of Ludlow.
