n the beginning... In these times of world tension and strife, there is much need for solace, solace which relieves strain and creates a mood of elation. Thus, in editing this book, we, the staff, feel that we have wisely chosen as our theme—the Bible. Just as the Bible embraces the past, present, and future of mankind, so, in presenting this yearbook, we too achieve our goal: the epitome of our happy memories of the past and our mixed emotions of hope, wonder, and awe of the future. In commemoration, then, of our carefree years at the Ludlow High School and with certainty of our poten- tialities in the future, we proudly present the 1956 edition of The Ludlow Lion!
