A MESSAGE TO THE CLASS OF 1954 Many of the ills of our society today are caused by the lack of consideration for the “other fellow. The ‘Prom other fellow may be a member of the family, a neighbor, a fellow worker, or another nation. the Ludlow High School, we like to believe, is a place where we practice the democratic way of life, where we S. learn to live and work together, and where the rights and ages privileges of the other fellow are recognized. This way of living I hope youwill carry out of school into the adult life which you are now beginning. I wish you, each and everyone, God Speed! Others will follow, but few perhaps will have as much to offer as your high school days, You have seen yourself grow physically and mentally. Many of you have made the most of your time and opportunities. Some of you have been satisfied with doing as little as possible to get by this period of life. Much of your success in the future will be based upon what you did during your high school days. There will be many times when you will glance at this book at different stages of your life. May it bring back fond memories of the pleasant days in Ludlow High.
