A MESSAGE TO THE CLASS OF 1953 An old proverb tells us that A little learning is a dangerous thing. This is true only when the possessor of this little knowledge assumes it to be total knowledge. Much of the misery of mankind is due to those who assume that their little learning is all learning. Look upon your graduation as a commencement--the beginning of a larger education that will continue, yet will never be completed. To us, Ludlow High School is a laboratory in the democratic way of life, where young people of all social, economic, and religious backgrounds learn to know, to work, and to play together. This experience, coupled with an understanding that your education is just beginning, will develop responsible, growing citizens, working together to make this world a better place in which to live. We wish you God speed! Charles R, Gadaire, Ph.D. Chairinan Leo J. Brodeur Michael V. Rostkowski
