The Judge has re-entered the jury is settled once again and the audience is quiet. The judge surveys the court room and is distressed to see that Bezerly Moore Conover cover girl accompanied by her exclusive designer Victoria Pietrusta and her p rsonal secretary Elsie Costa is pow- deiinff her nose. Near the back of the couitroom he sees Theresa Syriac and Madeline boncher both of whom are cooks at our own Bars and Stripes For- ever County Jail. However -on to the business at hand. The judge proceeds to read the letter which will release Mr. X. The document asks that the state drop charges agiinst Mr. X known to his associates as Richard Linton guilty of blowing up the chemical plant at L.M.A. where he is employed for the com- pound he accidentally produced is a powerful explosive which can be used to good adv intage by the company and this has just been confirmed by an associate chemist, Alice O'Nez'l. Linton is innocent! The charges are dropped! Thus it is that case Number One Thousand Nineteen Hundred Forty-Five comes to a close.
