The dancing couples, numbering about eighty, rhumbodk and congod to the tunes of Arnie J and his orchestra. The ball concluded at midnightp never to be forgotten by the Seniors who offer thanks to the Junior hosts and to their advisors, Miss Pitcher and Mr. A. B. Dewey for a very successful party. 'The Nutt Family' written by Walter Blake and produced by Samuel French, was presented by the Senior Class of Ludington High School on March 11, in Oriole Ball. The play was s great success this year as in the past. The characters were Cerise and Orestue, played by Lois Holmetrom and Ned Bowden, who kept the audience in e con- tinous up-ronr. Russell Anderson lDrf P. Nutt! and Mary Hell Mchillenlheta Nutt! both gave excellent performances. The children of the household were Hsrva Mae Lcken lIma Huttl and Bob Davielwsll Nutl. William KlemnlLarry Smart! fell in love with Ima but was engaged to Marcia Mae Ely idharlotte Neal! a girl he hnd never seen. In the end, Ima and Larry and Nall and Charlotte were to be married.
