PRESIDENT? ADDRESS Z'g5,:HE:,3,E:rx.5 FTER four years of earnest endeavor in the pursuance of a High School education, we, the class of xcpry, have at last successfully attained the goal towards which we have been steadily striving. Although the past has required many great sacrifices on the part of some of us, we are certain that no sacrihce which was made is so great but what we will reap rewards many times its multiple. Qne fact, however, is most deplorable. Cf the total number of our class that entered as freshmen, nearly iqfty per cent have seen Er to discontinue their career of learning. As a result of their unwise decision, our ranlts have been finally diminished to thirty-seven, only eight of which belong to the sterner sex. Ill ln the past, as many preceding us have already proven, we have found to our utmost satisfaction that obstacles which at yqrst sight were apparently insur- mountable were easily overcome by applied effort on our part. Accordingly we have adopted for our watch word Hlsabor conquers Everythingf, If in the future we profit by our preceding experiences and still adhere to our motto, success is assured, not necessarily hnan- cially but at least theoretically, since only things worth while are accomplished through concentrated labor. Ill Before departing on our separate paths we wish to express our appreciation for the ltind supervision given us by the faculty and wishing our under classmen the best of success, we will say, HAu Revoirf, Erwin Hermann.
