Zion, Maryland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Newall in the presence of a, large company of relatives and friends. p . The church was effectively decorated with honey-' suckle, white roses and ferns. The ceremony was performed under a beautiful arch of white rambler roses. k 4 As the guests were assembling, Miss Kathryn- Hand sang, O, Promise Me and I Love You Truly g andf Miss Eleanor Shepherd gave an organ recital precedfx ing the ceremony. 4 The bride was escorted to the ,altar by her fatheri. She wore a gown of white lace and satin made onQ-- princess lines. Her veil of lace and net was arranged: in cap eifectg and she carried roses and lilies of the valley. A' . Mr. Padgett's best man was Mr. Robert Wingard of-g Ohio, and Mrs. Armstead Wayson, sister-in-law of they bride, was matron of honor. She wore a yellow net: gown with small hat to match and carried Iohannaj- Hill roses. Little Miss LaRue Kolb, cousin of the fr, bride, was the Hower girl. She was dressed in palef. pink and carried a basket of pink rose petals which. she strewed in the path of the bride.
