PEOPLE Going to school at Luck can be a real experience. The small school atmosphere gives the students a chance that other students in larger schools don't have. The students are fortunate in that they are able to get to know everyone. For a small school. Luck has a great variety of people. There are the jocks, the non-jocks, and the fans. Luck has the student striving for good grades and the student just striving to fit in. Combined, they make up the unique student body at L.H.S. The students get to know not only each other, but also the faculty members. The faculty can become very close to the students througn supervising clubs and organizations and coaching the athletic teams. Together, the students and faculty at Luck High School make for a friendly atmosphere with a variety of people with a wide range of styles and interests.

It was an exciting first year of high school for the freshman class. One highlight of the year was their in- itiation into pep club by tne seniors. Another event was Spirit Week, where the freshman class came in second by one point in the contest for most spirit. Other freshman favorites were: building their first float, having Miss Nelson for English, mythology and Mexican War reports, and having seniority over the junior high. Mike and Glenn show their spirit. s
