MR. ROWE Principa I s Message For a period of four years you live in a world within a world. High school life is rich in experiences, hard work and enjoyment almost to the point of excluding that which occurs outside of it. The sum total of these experiences is meant to be a prep- aration for whatever you choose to do after graduation. The 1960’s present years of opportunity rarely equalled in any other decade. How- ever, as the world offers wider horizons, it also demands more in the form of acceler- ated educational programs and additional personal responsibilities for each of you in the realm of civic obligations and participation in the solution of local, national and world problems. % The 1963 Horseshoe is not a complete record of the happenings of the past school term. It is but a sketch from which you, yourself, must fill in to recreate the quint- essence which was your high school world. Good luck!
