“Class Will we, the Class of 1956 of Lucerne High School, of the County of Cass, and of the State of Indiana, being of sound mind and body, do hereby make, publish, and declare this as our last will and testa- ment, hereby revoking all former wills, bequests, and devices of whatever nature or form heretofore made by us. We, the Senior Class, do bequeath our good looks to the faculty and students whom we leave behind, so that the school may continue to enjoy these good looks after we are gone. I, Allen Hanna, do bequeath my basketball suit to Chris Chris- tiansen, so he can play his three remaining years. I, Normalou Unger, do bequeath my ability to go steady and get engaged to Lois Cook, so that she may hook a man. To Dale Bridge I leave my ability to behave in chorus the thinks this isn't possible! and to Sharon Purdue my ability to cut hair, so that she won't have it all cut off before she gets it the way she wants lt. I, Kenneth Brown, do bequeath my ability to get along with Mr. Bowen to Jim Robinson, so that he may become the star singer of Lucerne. I, Billy Fairchild, hereby bequeath my ability to go steady to Gene Swank, so he can keep a girl and my job as student manager to Dave Young, so he can finish out his next two years washing gym clothes for the players. I, Dick Winn, do bequeath my ability to grow whiskers to Arthur Newell, so that he may use the new razor he got for Christmas. To Darryl Myers I leave my ability to catch a girl, so he can increase his list from 5 to ol3 and to Sandra Young my sharp elbows, so she can use them when she gets into tight spots. I, Dick Bridge, do bequeath my ability to behave in class and in the assembly to Jim Robinson, who just might need it, before he's a senior and my ability to get fairly good grades to my brother, Dale, who will need them for his remaining two years. I, Norman Warner, wish to leave the last seat in the assembly to any junior who may grab it and my ability to change seats in bookkeeping to Gene Swank, so that he may be well prepared. I, Goldy Cunningham, do bequeath my ability to run the hundred yard dash to Bill Rance, who, I think, can do the job very well. Signed: The Senior ass of 1956 By Pres. In witness whereof we do hereby set our hand and seal on this fidlg day of , 1956.
