Once upon a time, a long time ago when we were children, someone gave us a book e a book about Little Boy Blue, My Son John, Humpty-Dum- pty, Jack and Jill, and lots and lots of people all out of Mother Goose. We loved our book. We thumbed its pages and colored its pictures and had Mother read its jingles over and over. But one day after We'd grOWn quite tall and could tie our own shoe- strings, we went to school. And when we could read and write and work arithmetic we found that at last We were seniors e Seniors at Lucedale High School. Somehow suddenly, we wanted to remember; we wanted to keep our year of 1947-48 and we wanted to share it with you. It got all mixed up with our Mother Goose only this time Mother Goose was different.
