CLASS PROPHECY On June 10, 1975, we boarded the Queen Elizabeth, one of the largest ocean liners in the world, for London Immediately after we boarded the liner we met the owners of the ship, none other than Rod y and Robert Varble Talking to them, we discovered that Sherry Rober was singing as an entertainer on the ship After getting off the ship, we decided to rent a used car and see the sights of London The used car dealers were two of our old class mates, Ronnie Hurle and Wa ne Yea er Wayne told us that he had mar ried Ju ea er f ve years ago e then headed for the hotel that Wayne l us Ronnie Po e owned On the way to the hotel we were stopped for speeding an e policeman, much to our Joy, was Charlie Weinbach We were so glad to see each other that he forgot the tick U n arriving at the hotel, we noticed a good looking barber in the hotel lobby It was Rex Crowder After we had rested, we went to the Picadilly, which ls considered the nightlife of London We bumped into two of our old classmates, Glenna Mclntlre and Venda Woodson, on our way They told us that they H 5 come private secretaries for big business firms After talking for a while, they invited us to see a command performance We were surprised to find among the entertainers a new dancing star, Je y Scales, who had been dancing professionally for the past two years I vlng Glenna and Venda, we boarded a plane for Paris While seated on the plane, we noticed a couple of nice looking gentlemen sitting across from us They were Bob Alverson and Ronnie West They informed us that they had become construction engineers and were on their way to straighten the Leaning Tower of Pisa They also told us that they had been talking to the pilot of the plane and he was Jerald Fortune Arriving in Paris, we decided we needed some new clothes so we stopped at the leading dress shop To our surprise, the famous dress designer we had heard so much about was Ruth Warner, and her top model e remem ere t at we had promised to meet Ronnie and Bob at one of the famous sidewalk cafes Here we discovered that the delicious food we were eating was prepared by the famous chef, Philli Schmidt The next place on our schedule was Italy We noticed e paper that this year's Olympics were being held in Rome Two of the American particl pants were Eddie Hornback and Wa ne Davis We were very thrilled when they took time from their Busy sc e u e o talk to us After tourzng Italy, we decided to stop ln Singapore When we arrived, we went to the American Embassy to find that our classmate, Donna Nash, was teaching ln the grade school of Chiang Kai shek She E I3 us that Leara Kelley was working as a secretary at the Embassy W read in the newspaper that Mrs Allen Robertson, the former Sharon Carter, and her husband were touring Singapore After spending all our money and seeing most of the world, we boarded the ship for the States There we met another of our class mates, Edward Gaesser He informed us that he was making a career of the Army and now Held the rank of major Arriving ln Hollywood, we met the rising new actress, Sunn Goodman Talking to her we learned that Mr and Mrs James Meece an r an Mrs Dennis Herrell were touring Hollywood ln celebration of their tenth wedding anniversary Mrs Meece and Mrs Herrell formerly were Anna Jo ce Herrell and Sharon Krantz Taking a plane to New York we note we ad oun al our classmat 5 E one By accident we picked up the newspaper and the headlines read, 'Miss Kay Carpenter, first woman to run for president ' We were very glad to find all our classmates doing so well If you haven't guessed it already, we are Jud Per uson and Carol n Wilson One reason our close friendship of high sc oo ays has en ure s t t our husbands, Bill Youn and Tom Decker, have joint ownership of an engineering firm n ew ork I . ts o . .
