The pigeons which are constantly perched on the sides of the fountain help make this one of the beauty spots on the campus. Adding to Lubbock's skyline, this stately tower is a 24-year-old landmark of our city. Lubbock High, commonly known for its Spanish-Colonial or Medi- terranean architecture, has the reputa- tion of being the most magnificent and splendidly equipped building in Texasf, Down this main arterial highway flows the life blood of Lubbock High-its students, This year an average of 2100 students of the peak enrollment of 2210 daily walk down this hall. Extending ap- proximately 400 feet in length from east to west, this hall probably qualifies as the longest in any high school in the state.
