Irvin has been superin- tendent of Lubbock schools only two years, but, during the short time he has been here, he has taken time to become well acquainted with many of the stu- dents and is always willing to listen at- tentively to their problems. He holds a Bacheloris Degree from Simmons College and a Master's Degree from Hardin-Simmons University. He has also studied at the University of Cal- ifornia and has almost completed work on his Ph.
