New students were kept busy learning what the others already knew, and all were kept occupied moving into rooms and fighting the problems of registration. It was soon apparent that the motto was hurry up and wait, as students tangled with lines for phones, chapel, mail boxes, and registration. And then there were those interminable book lines. The Student Senate endeavored to chase away these first week blues by sponsoring the movie, Airport and holding an all-school devotional.
