then For more than 20 years, two sororities have been promoting with a strong desire- aca- demic, social and religious enhancement of both the University and its students: Theta Phi Alpha and Phi Phi Phi. This year marks the 25th anniversary for the first sorority on the Loyola Campus. Theta Phi Alpha was founded in 1959 and it was the first Panhellenic Conference sorority at Loy- ola. Phi Phi Phi was first conceived during the Christmas season of 1956 by Mary Ann Reis- ing, Sylvia Patron, and Nancy Cummings. Their reality was to have a sorority that will accept a unique direction of its members- themselves. They are a strength on a sister- hood of diversity, and a foundation of tradi- tion and individual self-expression. 1 i
