, 4 N 5, sa M ' L 'ry 4.1 ith 1 E THE WGLF Almost a decade has passed since the Wolf last appeared on the campus of Loyola. There is no official recording of the people who became part of the community of Loyola during those years. There is no dust-gathering book which may be taken from its resting place to recall a lost name, to remember an old friend, or to remind one of the good times of the past. There are only the memories. So, it seems fitting that in this dynam- ic era of new beginnings, the Wolf would begin anew. Traditionally, the Wolf represents Loyola Uni- versity for a given school year. However, words and pictures alone cannot convey the true feeling that runs throughout this book. Instead, the year- book should be thought of as a collection of mo- ments in time, locked forever in the present. For, as the days slip further and further into the past, these pages provide the mechanism by which the past and present are reunited, even if it is only to the extent that we relive the past in our mind. It is in this way that our true emotions of Loyola 1976-1977, can be felt long after the pages of the Wolf have begun to fade.
