The Institute of Human Relation It-if one overall goal, namely, that of laboring tt- create a society in which the dignity of the human person in whomsoever found will be acknowl- edged, respected and protected. Among its continuing programs are the National Endow- ment for the Humanities' Louisiana Program, the Labor-Management School, BLUE- PRINT, the Consumer Center, the Correc- tional Reform Program Qwith the AFL-CIOJ, The G.E.D. Continuing Education Program and various ongoing projects dealing with the concerns of women. Founded in 1969, the New Orleans Review is a cultural publication of Loyola University. It features the works of Loyola's faculty and students as well as such noted writers as Nor- man Mailer and Walter Percy. The Review is published three times a year. The Institute of Politics' primary goal is to locate young men and women with outstanding leadership potential, and bring them together in an educational program designed to endow each with a solid foundation in the exigencies of practical politics and government. The pur- pose ofthe program is to prepare these emerg- ing leaders for entry into public life as candi- dates for office, government officials, and citi- zen activists in the affairs of their communities and nation. The Institute's ultimate aim is to improve the overall quality of political leader- ship. SCOPE provides an opportunity for under- graduate education for those who normally could not enter Loyola. It is geared toward providing assistance to the educational andfor economic disadvantaged by offering a system of pre-admission with academic-year instruc- tion, tudoring, and counseling.
