In trying to decide what to write in this paragraph many things came to my mind and I feel that there are certain things, aspects of the book, which warrant explanation. The most obvious one being the absence of copy. The decision to produce a book without copy was mine and I still believe in its merit. The rationale being that a yearbook is a pictorial account of a school year, but only time and opinion will tell me if my idea was valid. In closing I would like to thank the people who helped me in the production of Evergreen ’73. The business staff of Rick Cumbie, Tom Montgomery, Dianne and Maureen Boulier, Mark Kriener and everybody else who helped us, I thank you. The photography stalf of Danny Menchel, Greg Miller and Mary Jo Shoasky— thank you again. A special thanks to Judy Menn and Peter Scanlan for all their help in production and just being around to do the dirty jobs. And finally, I would like to single out a few people who without their help there would not be an Evergreen ' 73. They are Scott Smith, my associate editor. Coy Harris, sales representative of Bradbury Keller, Abe Ohrlich of Davor photo, Theresa Nangle, Dean Yanchic, Steve McNeirney, Paul Melansen, Fr. Kunkle, and most of all our friend and moderator Fr. Frank Haig. Again my sincere thanks to all of you. JIM JONES Editor in chief Evergreen ’73 mm
