Gallagher, English and Political Science teacher; the Rev. Robert J. Hoggson, S.J., Sociology; Woodrow R. Jordon, Major, USA, Military Science and Tactics; John O. Scrimger, Dra- matics; R. E. Vandervort, Jr., Lt. Col., USA, Military Science and Tactics, and the Rev John E. Wise, S.J., Religion. At mid-year, the Rev. Michael Maher, S.J., professor of Ethics, was appointed secretary to the Provincial, with residence at St. Ignatius Church. John Scrimger resigned to accept a Fulhright Eellowship for study in Spain. The Rev. Thomas J. Higgins, S.J., assumed teaching duties for both Senior Ethics sections, and Mr. Larry Arrick was commissioned to direct the final production of the Mask and Rapier Society. Unfortunately, the portraits of several members of the faculty could not be included in this section. Dr. William M. Thornton, research chemist, and the Rev. Janies A.
