The principal objec- tions raised against the Church were clearly and thoroughly refuted for them in apologetics, so that they might stand on their own feet in any religious con- troversy. We trust they will continue on to philosophy, so as to stabilize their knowledge. As Freshmen enter the portals of col- lege, timid and expectant, a course of po- etrv opens up to them a larger life to which they aspire.
