Foreword In todays struggle toward a united world. one elementary factor seems to have heen completely overlooked: the Christian education of youth. It is a truism to say that the future of a nation depends on the character of the coming generationg yet so many goxernments allow nonrsectarian or pagan systems of education to instill materialistic or openly pagan principles into the minds and hearts of the young. Is there any cause for wonder, then, if international policy is dictated hy greed and hate, instead of hy a spirit of unselfish cooperation and genuine charity? A Christian education of the young, however, would impress upon them the two great commandments of the Creator: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and thy neighhor as thyself. lfor unless all men acknowledge their depen- dence on God, and give to Him the adoration and honor which He deserves, true peace is impossible. If the relations lwetween nations are not hased on a real lwrotherhood of man under the fatherhood of God. self-assertiveness will grow into a maniacal lust for world-wide dominion, and we will he again plunged into the hitter days of war. Christian education, then, can and does play a meaningful role in the life of man, and if all nations would make it an integral part of their policies, the Savior's greeting to His Apostles, Peace he to you, would he no longer a mere ideal anxiously sought for, hut a concrete and living factor in our .laily lives. As graduates of a Christian system of education. we will endeavor to carry these commands of God in our hearts forever. May we then with Gods help do our share in forming a united Christian world.
