Page 4 OYCWOV 0 . . As Loyola Academy forges ahead in its history and tradition, we stop to ponder the past for a moment, and to try to envision the new things which the future holds in store. Since the first graduating class of four members in 1911, continuing through forty- seven years on the Lake Shore campus, and beginning anew on the Wilmette campus, Loyola's traditions and educational goals remain the same. The program of study, suc- cessful for more than three hundred years, Will continue now as it was then. lt aimed at pro- ducing the supernatural man who thinks, judges, and acts constantly and consistently in accordance with right reason illumined by the supernatural light of the example and teaching of Christ. Beginning a new era, on a new campus, Loyola Academy seeks merely to relocate and not to change its traditions. The devotion and self-sacrifice of its faculty, the hard work and fine spirit of its students, the loyalties of its alumni will continue to make Loyola the same Loyola it has been since its foundation. The theme of this year's Grad Prep will. therefore, seek to recount some of the memories of the past and preview the opening of the new era.
