To the faculty, we bequeath our appreciation for the patience, understanding, and due sympathy given to us. Also, we leave them our unrecognized ability to discuss a problem cooperatively, to arrive at a sensible solution, and to work together harmoniously. To the junior class we leave our ability to play basketball and our skill at slipping quietly into the class room before the third bell has rung. To the girls of the junior class we leave the beauty of the female portion of our group, and to the boys we give the worn-out ties that our boys have so faithfully worn for the past four years. To the sophomore class, we bestow our ability to pass notes without being caught, and our skill in tearing them into smaller pieces and scattering them farther than any other class has been able to. To the freshman class, we will our natural talents to solve p oblems by calculating, reckoning, and estimating. To the eighth grade, we bequeath our meekness, bashfulness, and thoughtfulness while in the presence of teachers To the seventh grade, we leave our excellent order during class meetings, a d our attentiveness in all classes And now we c me to the following personal bestowals, which though small and trifling, have been awarded to individuals after due con sideration of the fitness of the receiver.
