77 I fp!! f I ,ffw f iRAHATIC CLUB As members of our Iramatic Club, we consider it to be one of the most active and successful clubs organized for a number of years. Much of this success is due to the excellent leadership of our supervisor, LTS. Schultz, and to the co-operation of our members. Outstanding programs were planned from week to week by our club officers and the program committee. These programs provided the members with some knowledge of play acting and reading, phases of gesturing, and forensics We want to thank ITS. Schultz for her capable supervision, and we feel that we have achieved some dramatic knowledge as a result of this Our club officers are: President--Gene Cook Vice President--Joan Taylor Secretary--Eunice langholz Treasurer--Mary'Hable suddessful club. I ff ,f ,. iff' J, Wx X f 'J 1 X! I , of' FORENSICS There was a large number of students who participated in the For- ensics Contest held at the Loyal High School March 12, 15, and 16. Those who received first and went to the contest at Greenwood were: Serious Declamation: Eunice Langholz Humorus Declamation: Joan Taylor Non-Original Oration: Jerome Theisen Four Minute Speech: Howard Sturtz Extemporaneous Reading: Jean Doering Extemporaneous Speakingg Joseph Roth Receiving second at Loyal but also participating at Greenwood were: Gene Cook in non-original oratory and Mary Hable in Humorous Declamation. At Greenwood Eunice Langholz and Mary Hable received 'A' ratings and entered the district contest at Stevens Point. This year our forensic work has been very satisfactory due to the excellent direction and supervision of our Dramatica Club advisor, Mrs.
