Editor: Joan Hbyer Assistant Editor: Eunice Langholz Advisor: Miss E. Walter F. H. A. At the beginning of this year, our chapter organized and elected its officers. They are as follows: President: Virgene Olsen Vice President: Wilma Daermever Secretary: Joan Meyer Treasurer: Veryl Foelske Historian: Shirley Dobbe By paying the required dues, we have become members of both the state and the national F. H. A. organizations. The banquet which was given for our mothers was the highlight of our yearly activities. F. F. A. This year the F. F. A. of forty members under the capable direction of Mr. Lawrenz has been raising money by selling seeds and selling pop at basketball games. The purpose of the F, F, A. is to practice brotherhood, honor rural opportunities and responsibilities , and develop qualities of leadership. PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB We had a very fine turn out this year for membership in the Photography Club but somehow after our first meeting the cameramen's interest dwindled. In fact no one was present until the day we took this picturell One reason for poor attendance was because there was little or no place to meet in the building. We hope that a successful Photography Club can he arranged next year because we had both inter- esting and educational experiments in clubs gone by, LIBRARY CLUB The Library Club, under the direction of Mrs. Schultz, has over fifty girls enrolled this year. They have all cooperated in keeping tho books both in the library and on the reference shelf in the best condition they know how. We sponsored a candy sale at the Freshmen's initation and came out fairly well. With this money plus some of our dues and the aid of the school, we bought fifty books--a good selec- tion for all the students. The girls with your help will keep tif books in good condition and will try to supply you with the best :ad- ing materials. Schultz y! fl 5 ,A thy 77 I fp!! f I ,ffw f iRAHATIC CLUB As members of our Iramatic Club, we consider it to be one of the most active and successful clubs organized for a number of years. Much of this success is due to the excellent leadership of our supervisor, LTS. Schultz, and to the co-operation of our members. Outstanding programs were planned from week to week by our club officers and the program committee. These programs provided the members with some knowledge of play acting and reading, phases of gesturing, and forensics We want to thank ITS.
