As I leisurely stroll along the now repaired streets of new and more fash ionable Paris, I was suddenly pressed into a throng of cheering people. Attempting to discover the commotion, I knocked over a fragile peanut stand The peanut vendor Oliver H who was shouting 'fresh.nuts', turned upon me and I was saved from further brutality. As I turned to journey on again, I beheld a tall dark eyed beauty model ing a sway back in the shop 0ooooH!! Yvonne Christensen I scurried to the door, hoping to chat with Yvonne, but lo, I found I had gone through the wrong door, an was immediately rushed off my feet and practically laced upon a stool before a soda fountain and the 'soda jerk' smiled familiarly at me said in 'Arthur Olsen Style into Mademoiselle Bertz's 'Ritz Shoppe. I was greeted at the dooiy Mademoiselle herself, and was cordially invited to meander at my own will throughout the shop Because of lack of time, I had only a glance at various characters still the beau tiful and vain Violet secretary for Mademoiselle Mary Jane as creator f the stran e and bewitching fashions originally soft luscious curls for the models was 'tin Helen Saying goodbye, I walked out to the street and finding that the impab lent crowd was rushing in the direction of Place du Capitole, I hailed a taxi and aimlessly we glided along the rose strewn streets While on Rue de la Concord, chanced upon a riding academy and the instructor in charge Fern Horn!! Dropping in to say hello to Fern, I chanced upon Beatrice Taggert, famous love lorn columnist who was there for an interview. At the moment Walter Hinkleman, Amer1ca's million dollar playboy by inheritance, burst in and upon recognizing me he invited me to the Cha Paree to see the three 'Silly Swingsters' who dance at the milk bar. Imgine my surprise when I saw that this trio consisted of Lorraine West, Bernadine Sturtz, and Jewell Miller. Heavens!! Are all the Seniors of 1941 in Par1s???? At this thought I stepped out of my cab, and upon doing so collided with Marliss Berg, who was laden with suitcases labeled Palmolive she informed me that she is super saleswoman for the soap that makes 'the skin you love to touch ' Marliss also told me that she had jmtnwhmtmnwswuDmudMwmHu,momsmumunmbyhdMm,mo is Justice of Peace at Spokeville, is nicely settled down on four acres of land near Mann. Certainly I must see the Trindal Twins. I rushed t the shop and was met at the door by both Janice and Joyce, who eagerly snatched away to their advertising room where lunsurprisinglyl I beheld the 'Sultan in his Harem' Verland Lakosky amidst beautiful wax models!! An uproar of voices arose from the streets and then I discovered the 'what for' of the excitement. Thecitizens of Earls cheering their new premier- Roger Steiner!!
