NIGHT REMAIN CHAM For twenty two games, the Knights' charges with the bat and great defensive work brought the downfall of all opponents. This undefeated streak brought state-wide recognition. Norrix added the Big Five Trophy to its collection of honors and placed four members on the All-City Team: Dan Tessin, Bill LaDuke, Terry Lewis and Doug Brigham. Tom Bommersbach made second team shortstop and Tom Haynes received honorable mention for All-City. Dan Tessin, a sophomore, finished the year with a 5-1 pitching record and was one of the reasons for the team's success. Other members who didnit receive wide recognition were often the ones who kept morale high. The three year record of 29-6-1 reflects the desire and inspiration brought forth by Coach William Stuifbergen. 83
