However, after the team placed fourth in one meet and second in the Zeeland invitational, the Coach quickly changed his outlook. But Norrix wrestlers ,didn't stop here. The team placed third in the Conference and ended the season with the finest wrestling record in three years. Bob Timkovitch fleftj and Howard Major, Co-Captains, both qualified for the State wrestling meet clirnaxing a line season.

THEY SWIM TO VICTORY ,fem- Breaking 36 school records and four pool records, the swimming team of Norrix came through with a banner year. In Mr. John Shelander's first year as coach the team made a fine showing in the Southwestern Michigan invita- tional. Sophomores such as Thomas, Nowak, and Sturtevant indicate a strong future in swimming for Norrix. Seniors: Bob Vanderwege, Ron Schmell- meyer and Ray Klempp.
