The versatile orchestra has an apparently unlim- ited range of pieces which they play - from Se- lections from Camelot to a moving Bach selec- tion. The orchestra has played for Bye Bye Birdie, Diary of Anne Frankf, the Christmas Concert, and Baccalaureate. Their success is credited to their director, Mr. Martin Flavin. Members of the orchestra were screened at audi- tions before Mr, Flavin, who visited each Kalama- zoo junior high in search of prospective musicians. Although the practice sessions were time-consum- ing, the resulting harmony was worth the effort.
