Dr. Hodgson takes over from Dr. Ford his duties at his first faculty meeting. fanzbr-fenzbr fihgh Although the student of L.A.C.S. may find fault with the following groups, he realizes the necessity and importance of their guidance. In their attempt to do what is best for us they may seem miles short of their goal . . . but that is probably because we are too close to our problems to accept their solution. The fact is we must gripe and the following group is the most natural target. Although they are the object of our ire now, we shall soon forget such characteristic expressions as what a slave driver, boy, when Simon Legree gives assignments, he really piles it on' or what does she expect, miracles? These are typical phrases referring to the teacher's nightly burden of homework. However, when we graduate we will be able to view our present taskmasters in an entirely different light, for we will no longer be the 'fpoor over-burdened student. They will not seem like the unrelenting slave drivers as they now appear. We will then realize the truly great help they are to us in these years when experienced guidance is so greatly needed. 1' Row I-Mrs. Martha M.
