Third Row: CHORUS In their maroon robes, with smiling faces and sparkling eyes, the chorus presented its annual Christmas concert, in the morning for' the school students, and at night for their parents and friends. The quartets which are a section of the chorus had their beginning in 1951. The members of the girls' quartet consisted of jane Nortz, Joanne Ward, Nancy Kelly and joan Peebles. The members of the boys' quartet consisted of Dick Greene, Gordon Allen, David Boshart and David Klosner. Mr. Williams, who is Mr. Askins' assistant, also directed the chorus. We appreciated the loyalty of the two accompanists, Jane Nortz and Marion Hulbert. Susan Robinson and Colleen Roche kept the music sheets in order after the chorus had used them in select- A ing songs for their annual activities. Membership is based on scholarship, leadership, service and character. The student must be in the upper third of his class. Five per cent of each graduating class is selected in the latter part of the junior year. The result is announced at Commencement in June. Ronald Campany, George Kilpatrick, William Grunert, John Lormore, and Beverly Rogers were chosen last June.
