OWACADIAN 0 194 OFFICFRS President Annt Richardson Vice Prtsidtnt Mary Hcddtn Stcretary I-aith Ross Treasurer Wmifred McCormick Aoxisigizs Miss Lattm Mr Askm Mr Gregory unror Class Hrstor This class of 1942 now full fledged Juniors started out as green as any Irish flag entering high school with an air of We know for soon vullj all about this We soon found how perfectly miserable life could be made by upperclass men and how unimportant we really were However we soon became some what calloused to all this When James Morse was elected president with Joy ce Johnson as aide and with Helen Garnsey and Bill Saunders to keep the data of all our important busrness meetmgs we sailed along rather smoothly finishing our very first year in high in high When September again brought along a school term we first looked to our treasury Finding it somewhat depleted we entered the field of entertainment by sponsoring the appearance of Bellcamp the Magician Forty seven dollars u as realized on this effort We were almost too proud of our accomplishment We took the rest of the year in easy stride las easy as was possible with geometry and Caesar beside us every minute! and rested for the forthcoming year Juniors At last we were becoming important in this world of learning In March our first great task as Juniors was the presentation of our play One Wild Night. Acclaimed as a huge success it sers ed also to fill our fast-emptying treas- ury. At Easter our second great endeavor was undertaken in the form of the Junior Prom. We were now ready to just pass regents and at last we could enter those well cherished and greatly envied Senior Doors. IZSI
