LOWACADIAN 0 1940 Sophomore Class History Our voyage is getting rougher When this was o'er, with no bloodshed But our captain is on hand: Our bank account took a leap We'll travel along on money And we made a sum on this exploit With more in every land. The money we're sure to keep. With Jim Morse as the pilot, Our last and greatest Venture We surely cannot lose, ls still going strong: And Joyce as secretary We're eagerly peddlin' magazines Keeps a record of the news. As long as nothing goes wrong. Occasionally, when Jim rests up But could we have accomplished this without Miss Garnsey takes the boat in tow, Messrs. Gregory, Askins and Miss Piquet? And Foster certainly is a help Of course, the answer is no For our treasury books are just so. For we'd failed, sure as the break of day. We presented for everyone's amusement, All in all as sophomores, Bellcamp, the greatest guy, We feel the course is straight, And with his marvelous tricks, And we're steering right for home He fooled everyone, no wonder why. With graduation as our bait. l30l
