0 o o o c 0 ..........................g..,.....p-.p...... ......................,..g.-o--Q-.......... Class of 1932 H. HUMPHREY, Pres.,' M. KELSEY, Vice Pres.,- B. DUFLO, Sec.,' E. BARNES, Treas. FACULTY ADVISORS CLYDE H. GEERLINGS, RUTH .ANDERSON We entered Lowville Academy in '28 as Freshmen, 108 strong and as green as they come. Edwin Christiansen was elected president. The Juniors gave us the customary party and we returned it. We also ofliciated in moving up day with our cat and dogl' orchestra, and closed the year with a picnic at Whittakers Falls, chaperoned by Miss Bell and Mr. Parker. Our Sophomore year was most inactive, llfliss Bell had accepted a position in Utica, several of our number were gone and we lacked our Freshmen enthusiasm. We gave one party to raise money' but failed to participate in moving up day. As Juniors we regained our old pep and we elected Helen NlcCarthy president, but she was taken ill and her place was filled by Evelyni Buff. VVe entertained the Freshies at a kid party' and raised money for our prom by dues and selling candy. We gave a novelty hobo party and everyone came dressed as Hobos . Our prom was a great success. The gym was transformed into a forest by pine trees and a Well, served for a punch bowl. As Seniors we elected Henry Humphrey as president. Then began the real work. We gave a play Widow by Proxyi' which was a grand success. We sold everything from Christmas cards to candy to make money and succeeded. Student Council is another one of our accomplishments which We hope will continue after we are gone for it represents a great deal of work on our part. Then comes Senior 9 Q :O--of-0--If -0-U -0-Q--0--0--0-4--taint-U -0-0--rw--0--Cv-9 lf-lf-0' 00000 -out no- 'OvO0O'vOwO O O l0Cf -0-4--Q-lv-0--0--Q--9'-U-0-01-O--I-0'-Ov -I-0--0 'fl' -o--Q-.ont 014- --if-0 Ball, Banquet and trip. We're planning a glorious Senior Ball this year and would I not have any regrets at being'Seniors if it were not for the thought of passing from the portals of Lowville Academy and her memories.
